Bug ID: 377487
Summary: Find and List all instances of a searched word
Product: okular
Version: unspecified
Platform: Ubuntu Packages
OS: Linux
Status: UNCONFIRMED
Severity: wishlist
Priority: NOR
Component: general
Assignee: okular-***@kde.org
Reporter: ***@gmail.com
Target Milestone: ---

When using ctrl-f to search, could you show a list of all matching lines along
with some context, with an option to click and go to that page?

This is quite useful when figure numbers are referred in a book at multiple
places and finding the figure requires navigating through all previous matches.

Have you tried the search field on top of the thumbnails view? That one does
filter out all pages with a match.

I didn't know of that, it is quite similar to what I wanted, thank you.

I didn't know this feature either, but it is not sufficient.
Look at the "search" panel in Evince (Gnome), I am adding a screenshot (sorry,
in French). It is similar similar (but better, in my opinion) to the "advanced
search" tool in Adobe Acrobat (Reader).

Created attachment 104506
--> https://bugs.kde.org/attachment.cgi?id=104506&action=edit
Search panel in Gnome Evince (similar to "Advanced search" in Adobe Acrobat)

Is bug 238123 a duplicate?
